伯明翰著名的Thallein  Ensemble（塔倫室內樂團），將演奏瑞典作曲家和指揮家，Karin Rehnqvist.的作品，在音樂會下半場，Karin Rehnqvist將被授予伯明翰音樂學院的名譽博士。音樂會後有酒會。

屢獲殊榮，發布很多專輯的英國著名小提琴家，塔斯敏 李特，她和著名鋼琴家Piers Lane，將為大家帶來愉悅的音樂和精湛的技藝。音樂會後有茶點招待。

One of music’s great polymaths, the legendary fortepianist Robert Levin, joins us with a specialist programme highlighting Mozart’s improvisatory Preludes, and alternating these with some of the composer’s greatest sonatas. Unmissable! There will be light refreshments afterwards in the Foyer Area.

 

 

 

Birmingham Conservatoire Symphony Orchestra

Thursday 29 October, 6.15pm,  Symphony Hall

 

Continuing our survey of orchestral music by British composers, the Conservatoire Symphony Orchestra takes to the stage at Symphony Hall for a programme rich in colour and variety.

 

There will be a drinks reception afterwards at Symphony Hall.

 

 

 

Thallein Ensemble

Friday 13 November, 7pm, Adrian Boult Hall

 

The Conservatoire’s acclaimed Thallein Ensemble present a programme of music by Karin Rehnqvist.  Karin Rehnqvist will be awarded with Honorary Doctorate of the University at the beginning of the second half.  There will be a drinks reception afterwards in the Arena Foyer.

 

 

 

Tasmin Little (violin)

Tuesday 1 December, 1.05pm, Adrian Boult Hall

 

Join multi award-winning violinist Tasmin Little for a delightful concert featuring the acclaimed pianist Piers Lane.  There will be light refreshments afterwards in the Foyer Area.

 

 

 

Steve Reich’s Drumming

Tuesday 1 December, 6pm, Recital Hall

 

A rare performance of Reich’s iconic masterpiece, Drumming as performed by the Conservatoire’s Percussion Department.  There will be a drinks reception afterwards in the Arena Foyer.
